Argentina: April exports

Raw cotton exports in April were 3,209 tonnes, marginally lower than the 3,529 tonnes recorded in the previous month but 71 percent below the volume shipped in the same period a year earlier. Vietnam was the major destination, accounting for 41 percent of the total. Indonesia took 33 percent, and Pakistan 25.

Shipments have now fallen behind last year’s pace: in the first nine months of the international season, 74,392 tonnes were dispatched, down from 79,763 tonnes in 2023/24.
