US export sales and shipments


 

In the week ended May 8, the net upland sales commitment rose by 122,200 running bales, 86 percent higher than the previous week, attributed mainly to Vietnam (95,600 bales), Bangladesh (26,200), Indonesia (6,300), Peru (4,900) and India (1,300). Reductions were noted for Pakistan (11,900), Turkey (1,100), Thailand (400), and Korea (100).

 

Upland shipments were 329,200 running bales, for Vietnam (120,800), Pakistan (66,200), Turkey (51,900), Bangladesh (19,600), and Mexico (15,300).

Net Pima sales rose by 5,000 running bales, while shipments were 9,600 bales.

For the 2025/26 marketing year, the net upland sales commitment increased by 34,200 running bales, attributed to Honduras (25,400 bales) and Indonesia (8,800).
