China Cotton Index increases strongly

The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) has today recorded its largest daily increase since late September, advancing by 199 yuan to 15,615 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 105.20 US cents per lb. Type 2227B rose by 137 yuan to 14,708 yuan per tonne, (99.09 US cents per lb), and 2129B advanced by 182 yuan to 16,029 yuan per tonne (107.99 cents).
