Average prices on the China National Cotton Exchange’s e-trading platform gained further ground today, in all but the nearby October contract. In other positions, prices rose by between 58 and 107 yuan per tonne. Turnover was modest at 7,510 tonnes, and was concentrated in the February and March 2017 contracts.
