China: March’s raw cotton imports
Customs data provisionally show that China imported 58,000 tonnes of raw cotton during March, versus 56,000 tonnes in February. Cumulative imports during the first eight months of the international cotton statistical season (August through March) thus amounted to around 644,300 tonnes.
