Turkmenistan appears to have sold at auction so far this week an additional 1,100 tonnes of 2015/16 crop upland cotton, with buyers required also to take some quantities of old crop long staple varieties. Cumulative sales of upland cotton from the 2015/16 crop now amount to slightly over 16,500 tonnes.
