The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) dropped by three yuan to 16,333 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 103.25 US cents per lb. Type 2227B declined by six yuan to 15,043 yuan per tonne (95.1 cents), and Type 2129B increased by three yuan to 16,639 yuan per tonne (105.19 cents).
