All average prices on the e-trading platform of the China National Cotton Exchange closed with big gains, by between 128 and 193 yuan per tonne, owing to the short supply of top-grade resources. However, actual transactions are still relatively low. Turnover declined by 5,070 to 14,030 tonnes.
