The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) declined by five yuan to 12,317 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 85.19 US cents per lb. Type 2227B fell by two yuan to 11,528 yuan per tonne (79.74 US cents per lb), and Type 2129B decreased by three yuan to 12,919 yuan per tonne (89.36 US cents per lb).
