The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) decreased by 15 yuan to 15,665 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 107.55 US cents per lb. Type 2227B dropped by six yuan to 14,645 yuan, equivalent to 100.55 US cents per lb, and Type 2129B declined by 11 yuan to 16,190 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 111.16 US cents per lb.
