The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) was unchanged at 16,001 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 109.98 US cents per lb. Type 2227B increased by three yuan to 14,920 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 102.55 US cents per lb, and Type 2129B rose by six yuan to 16,512 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 113.50 US cents per lb.
