The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) fell by seven yuan to 11,682 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 81.22 US cents per lb. Type 2227B was decreased by 10 yuan to 10,795 yuan per tonne (75.06 US cents per lb), and Type 2129B was reduced by nine yuan to 12,219 yuan per tonne (84.96 US cents per lb).
