The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) fell by seven yuan to 11,941 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 83.03 US cents per lb. Type 2227B decreased by nine yuan to 10,988 yuan per tonne (76.40 US cents per lb), and Type 2129B declined by 12 yuan to 12,413 yuan per tonne (86.31 US cents per lb).
