Sales increased on The Seam

Sales on the Grower-to-Business side of The Seam amounted to 1,950 bales, up from the 874 that traded yesterday.  An average price of 55.42 cents/lb was paid, against 51.73 cts yesterday.  The season-to-date total increased to 25,001 bales.

Activity on the Business-to-Business side also rose, with 1,824 bales changing hands today at an average price of 60.26 cts/lb.  A total of 540 bales were sold during the previous session at 54.77 cts/lb.  The year-t0-date total therefore climbed to 17,267 bales.
