The China Cotton Index has gained six yuan, rising to 13,313 yuan per tonne (basis Type 3128B), equivalent to 98.79 US cents per lb. Type 2227B remains at 12,227 yuan per tonne (90.73 US cents per lb) while Type 2129B rose by two yuan to 13,990 yuan per tonne (103.82 US cents per lb).
