India: MCX prices

Trading on the MCX cotton futures platform on Friday followed the pattern of low volume observed all week, while prices for the active contracts ended mixed. Total turnover for July was 34,825 lots or 870,625 bales, the lowest monthly figure since December.

Only the August contract has traded so far today. By 13.35 IST, it had last changed hands at ₹27,430 per bale (₹57,380 per candy), down ₹40 from the previous close.
